Yuri Gagarin,a Russian,become the first human to travel into space.

Celestial bodies in the Universe. Stars,planets and dwarf planets,comet (made of ice), meteoroids (small pieces of rock or metal) and asteroid (rocky).

The Solar System is located at the edge of the Milky Way.It is made up of the Sun and celestial bodies tha orbit it.
Inner planets: Mercury,Venus,Earth and Mars.
Outer planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

The Earth.It orbits the Sun and it rotates on its axis.
The Earth’s rotation: 24h. to complete one rotation.
The Earth’s revolution: It takes the Earth just 365 days to orbit the Sun.

The Moon.It’s the Earth’s only natural satellite.
It takes the Moon about 28 days to complete one revolution and the same time to complete one rotation.
The Moon doesn’t produce its own light.
Eclipses: can be solar or lunar.
